Maccheroni - La Carbonara N1 di Milano

Came to Maccheroni for dinner and had a really great experience. Anna looked after me and recommended the starter platter so i could try a bit of everything. It was a generous portion and really good. She also suggested I order a smaller portion of pasta for my main because the starter was quite big, which I really appreciated. no upselling, just honest, thoughtful service. The food was great, the vibe was relaxed, and I felt well taken care of. I’d definitely come back and would happily recommend this place. (Free melon chelo!! Such a nice gesture l!)

We had an amazing experience! The food is great, atmosphere is impeccable, and the service is top notch. The gentleman who sat us was lovely and helped us find the exact wines for our meals. Our server Ana was such a doll! She was so warm and welcoming and hit the perfect mix of friendly while letting us have our own space and conversations. I’m a celiac eater and she was great with allergens. She specified if it was an allergy and confirmed the chef would separate everything to ensure my food was safe. I was craving carbonara and had a great experience! Delicious, amazing wine, and superb service. Thanks Ana!

One of the best carbonaras I’ve had. • Burro e Parmigiano Simple yet indulgent. The butter and Parmesan were perfectly balanced — comforting and elegant. • Spaghetti al Pomodoro Bright and fresh, with vibrant tomatoes and fragrant basil. Proof that simplicity shines when ingredients are good. Overall: honest, well-executed Italian classics that let quality ingredients speak for themselves. A must for pasta lovers in Milan.

Anna delivered service with a natural warmth that set a reassuring tone from the start. She took the time to observe and understand what we needed. Her interactions feel personal rather than routine. What stood out was her attentiveness. She checked in at thoughtful intervals, followed up on small details and made sure we felt cared for. Food is great and delicious! Small selection but served with intention. Love the music selection and the overall vibe!

Despite our very late reservation on a busy Saturday night, the team graciously found a way to accommodate us—a gesture that set the tone for the entire evening. The standout dishes were the Carbonara, perfectly executed with rich, silky sauce and impeccable balance, and the Veal Milanese, which arrived crisp, tender, and beautifully seasoned. For dessert, the Apple Cake was a warm, comforting highlight—lightly spiced, delicately sweet, and an ideal finish to the meal. Service was superb throughout, especially thanks to Anna, whose name appears frequently in other guests’ reviews for good reason. She was attentive, warm, and remarkably knowledgeable, enhancing the experience without ever feeling intrusive. Maccheroni excels in both cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended.

I loved the waitress Anna! If you’re looking for the best service in Milano this is it!! Delicious carbonara pasta and wine. Definitely recommend and worth its price. They also have lunch time during the week if you are trying to save some money

Carbonara was absolute perfection… Rigatoni perfectly cooked, sauce perfectly creamy, and the crispness of the Guancialle was absolutely delightful! Enjoyed every bite beside the amount of fullness after the nice plate of meatballs. Tiramisu was above average and worth trying for a cherry on top. Atmosphere was nice but there was one song the Christmas playlist which a kid shouting “I’ve seen my mom kissing Santa “ more than 5 times which slightly kill the vibes:) Good service but the time between two dishes was slightly too long, waiter was friendly! Overall Wonderful experience!

Very good Italian food nestled in a cozy alley away from the hustle and bustle of Milan. The restaurant was very welcoming and cozy. The food was amazing and genuine and the service especially by our waitress Anna was the cherry on the cake as she made the experience that much greater. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Milan!
